In 2003, interior designers Richard and Victoria Mackenzie-Childs decided that city living didn’t have to mean small apartments and cramped corners. Instead, they rescued one of the oldest immigrant ferries from a junk yard up north, refurbished her into a $1.3M eclectic dream home, and then let HGTV into their home with cameras to film the whole thing.
