Who Controls the Lights on the Empire State Building?

 

We’ve been wondering this for awhile and finally did some research. Turns out the short answer is: you do. Ok, maybe you don’t right now, but you could! The Empire State Building accepts lighting partners for special events, causes and milestones. You just have to fill out an application and you could be chosen.

Before you rush over there, though, we’re pretty sure they’re not going to turn on the lights for your cat’s birthday. Just sayin’…
