Second only to Manhattan, Brooklyn takes the cake on the most expensive city to live in, beating out San Fran, Honolulu, San Jose, Queens, and Stamford, CT. According to a report  by the Council for Community and Economic Research, the city has climbed the ranks due to rising housing costs.
