October is officially the cheapest month left in the year to get away. It makes sense. With the holidays fast approaching airlines and hotels are starting to increase prices for trips in November and December.
But where are these budget people heading to? Reuters and Cheapflights published a list of the top travel searches and bookings this October.
Unsurprisingly, it includes a couple college football-centric cities and quite a few “snow bird” destination spots down South.
Here’s the full list:
- Baton Rouge, LA
- Fort Myers, FL
- Austin, TX
- Albuquerque, NM
- Knoxville, TN
- Toledo, OH
- Asheville, NC
- Greenville, SC
- Columbus, OH
- Tampa, FL
